Construction Project
Waterville Valley Addition
One of our recent projects was a custom addition to a 20-year old log home located in Waterville Valley, NH. Log homes are not as difficult enlarge as you might think!
The home we are adding-to is a Ward Log Home built in 1987. Although the addition is compact (21' x 24'), the valuable living space it creates will solve many current floor plan problems. The new space will allow for:1) A first floor master bedroom and bath. 2) Enlarged dining and kitchen space for entertaining. 3) An separate entry (the old entry walked directly into the kitchen). 4) An inviting wrap-around porch. 5) Enlarged basement space

Note how the interior finish boards are woven to create a more natural effect. Once new stain is applied, the change will be unnoticable.

In this case, a double window is replaced with a single.
